Karl Borromäus Chapel, Hochfinstermünz, Tyrol, Austria

Hochfinstermünz is a small settlement on the road between Nauders and Pfunds/Reschenpass in Tyrol. The village looks as if the inhabitants had left it suddenly, looks really like in the 1920s. At the turn of the century there was a well-known luxury hotel. It was the best hotel in the Alps at those times. It was the first hotel in Tyrol to be equipped with a swimming pool, own gas station, post office, gift shop and chapel. In the 1950s the hotel was closed.
