Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Cairo

The Mosque of Ibn Tulun is the largest mosque in Cairo in terms of land area. The mosque was commissioned by the Tulunid dynasty ruler Ahmad ibn Tulun, the Abbasid governor of Egypt from 868-884.
