Sarcophagus in the King's Chamber, Great Pyramid, Giza

The only object in the King's Chamber is a sarcophagus made of a single, hollowed-out granite block. When it was rediscovered in the Early Middle Ages, it was found broken open and any contents had already been removed. The internal dimensions are roughly 198 cm by 68 cm, the external 228 cm by 98 cm, with a height of 105 cm. The walls have a thickness of about 15 cm. The sarcophagus is too large to fit around the corner between the Ascending and Descending Passages, which indicates that it must have been placed in the chamber before the roof was put in place.
