Westminster Bridge is a road-and-foot-traffic bridge over the River Thames in London, linking Westminster on the west side and Lambeth on the east side. The current bridge was opened on 24 May 1862. With a length of 250 m (820 feet) and a width of 26 m (85 feet), it is a seven-arch, cast-iron bridge with Gothic detailing. It is the oldest road bridge across the Thames in central London.
