Jason and Pelias in House of Fatal Love, Pompeii

King Pelias, accompanied by his daughters is at the top of a staircase in his palace of Iolkos. On the right, next to a table, Jason stands enveloped in cloak and with one foot bare as the myth recounts; on the left an assistant, garlanded like the other characters, leads the bull to be sacrificed to Poseidon.
Now it is in the Naples National Archaeological Museum
