Wall with a picture from Villa of Agrippa Postumus, Boscotrecase

This large fragment presents the whole central portion of a typical Third Style wall with columns and pilasters covered with elaborate polychrome ornamentations in a miniaturist taste. The wall is dominated by the large central picture. The painting can be dated to the last decade of the first century BC or the first years of the Christian era.
Now it is in the Naples National Archaeological Museum
