Volders is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land and is located 12 km east of Innsbruck. One of the main cultural sights of Volders is the church of St. Karl, as the monastery church dedicated to Saint Karl Borromäus is also called. It is not only considered to be the symbol of Volders, but it also represents one of the main Rokoko masterpieces in Tyrol.
