The tablinum (the central room at the end of the atrium of a Roman house, originally the master bedroom, later used for storing records) to the south of the courtyard is a large rectangular room with an intricate mosaic floor. The room, which occupies over a quarter of the entire ground floor area, is decorated in the fourth style in reds and yellows. In the center of the room there is a display case with some human remains.
